Undergrad Student Releases Her First EBook and It Becomes an Overnight Sensation!

Arlington, TX – University of Texas at Arlington undergraduate Biology senior, Ines Gaschot, published her first eBook on Monday, January, 14th, 2013. In the 72 hours that followed, the eBook sold 2,300 copies worldwide through Amazon’s Kindle Store. The eBook, which cover basic Dog Training Strategies, made it to the number one spot in the Kindle Store on Thursday for Dog Training beating over 1,700 search results.

Her eBook, called “Dog Training – The Easy Way,” gives step-by-step instructions on how to train your dog using friendly, but effective techniques such as clicker training. This method helps people and their dogs create great relationships. The eBook successfully teaches people how to easily train their dogs.

Her promotional strategy included sharing pictures on Facebook, making an announcement on her blog newsletter, and sharing the announcement on many other websites.  Many people shared the announcement which resulted in selling over 2,000 copies in just three days!

Ines owns a local dog training company, All Positive Dog Training LLC, where she helps out at the local shelter by teaching free classes for newly adopted dogs and their owners. Her blog, which she started in June of 2012 and writes about dog training techniques, has over 150 followers worldwide. She is graduating in May 2013 with a Bachelors of Science in Biology.
